The relevance is obvious in this shot. I enjoy the image because of its old-world qualities... it captures in its slightly hazy underpinnings a feel of the 1800s. Even though this image is in color, it appears only to have blacks and sepia tones... which is very nice. I wonder, however, if this might even prove a stronger image if it were put through desaturation? Very nice effort. For me, the only slight negative would be in the lack of sharpness of the number area itself. It looks like you or the camera was just a tad off of the sharpest focus possible there. Very nice!

@Lange Its funny you should say 1800s, this is one of the original Scotland Yard buildings in London, adn probably dates from that period. The hazy glow is a mistake - I meant to select one of the other versions I had... Too much christmas cheer i think

I'm torn about the softness of this image. On one hand it provides a nice, dreamy quality, but on the other hand I'd like to see some sharper detail in the structures.

i wish the 4 wasnt quite so soft.. but very relevant photo :) well done

I've never seen these before. What is it? What an interesting find. The image is a little too soft for my liking, but is good overall.

That is a bright 4.

Nice find, nicely executed. Looks like probably hand-held, not bad focus for that. Of course, it could be sharper, but... I like the tones and mood.

its a good shot, and I like the idea of it, but it's not as sharp as it could be and perhaps some more context for the building would add to the composition.

Wow, nice number 4 light up. I never see there is a number 4 light in lantern. Well done.
