Striking image. I love the angle you've captured these FOUR!! jets at. The curved smoke and deep blue color really make this pop for me. Very nicely done.

This image is well done in terms of relevance to the theme. The composition allows for space of the subject matter and secondary focal point of the smoke. The image suffers from your over processing. I find that one needs to commit one way or the other when attempting to gain your end result. A natural look for this image would have proved it to be very good. A highly processed and dramatic image would yield the same. What you've done here is gone middle of the road. Yes, you wanted definition in the sky/subject matter, but you took it too far for natural and not far enough for a creative edit.

Very difficult to photograph these things I know - which is why I think you've done really well! I would have wanted a maybe different composition, but like I say, you don't really have time to compose much with these ;) Nicely relevant!

Though this is good, I can't help thinking you must have a more dynamic shot of the Thunderbirds for this theme.

Ana said 137 days ago:

@kadenajack
I do..but with five or six planes in the shot.

:)

flipthom said 137 days ago:

Well well well...I thought this might happen. Congrats.

I really like the deep blue and angle you captured the planes. I wish there was a tad more detail in the planes, but can't really complain about that. This is great.
