I see both feminine in the v of the feet or a "chalice", and a masculine hand placement. One could say balance...pun intended.

This is nicely lit, and a good take on the theme. I think the only thing that puzzles me a bit is the contrast between the relaxed angle of the feet and the clenched fists in your subjects lap - in terms of the feel of this image they seem a little contradictory.

very nice idea and composition, my only suggestion is maybe a little less lighting on the legs, it tends to take my attention away from the feet
