Ooh, great concept. This one should be featured.

gorin-images: I think I'm the only "people" doing the "infinity" shots :)
I did the first on a whim. After the initial feedback I thought I'd work it a bit and see how it fared. Following feedback on the second shot I re-did it entirely and came up with this one. It's really the first time I've ever taken feedback and tried to apply it to some kind of "creative vision."
As to how I did it...I took a shot of my feet with a random image on the monitor, displayed it on the monitor and took another shot with my feet in the foreground, displayed *that* one on the monitor, etc. Thanks for the feedback :)
Blizzard: Initially I intended to have that one set of feet further back in the series, so that in fact it wouldn't have stood out so much but would have been (hopefully) an enjoyable difference in the series for anyone who cared to look that far back the infinity series. I appreciate your comment :)
pursang: Thanks!

to me this is more about a concept that uses feet as the subject matter, since it is something i have seen before i need some aspect toreally "wow" me to give it a higher rating

neene: Is it the two other "infinity" foot shots you've already seen in this theme that reduces the impact? (I posted both of them.) Or have you actually seen a lot of infinity shots in general and therefore have "overdosed" on them? I only ask because I was wondering how/whether multiple images of this type for the theme would "devalue" the second and third shots in any way.

That's a lot of feet!

That's an interesting idea. I still don't get how people are doing this "infinity repetition" thing with digital still cameras though... This is something you can do with a real-time image from a video camera projecting onto the screen you are filming, but with a digital still camera, you would have to fake it. Maybe that's your point though, because clearly this isn't real infinity-repetition going on here, since the third set of feet in is a mirror image of all the rest of the images.
Am I missing something?
