I catch what you're doing here, but I don't find the relevance on key. Yes, it's no skating, but it could just as well be a sign theme. Also, the image is a bit dark and the background tends to draw attention away from the sign. Sorry...

It's a funny sign, especially to those who've never seen something like this, but (in my opinion) the image could use a few improvements. For one, the focal subject is small and smack dab in the middle of the image, which makes for a very static composition. This could have been improved by either filling the frame with the sign, or re-composing so that the sign is on the right of the image and the walkway leading off behind it.

I don't see the connection that strong - maybe if you had focused moore on the sign and less on the enviroment. Plus the sign is somewhat dark but then you have those ultra bright stuff in the background.

cool idea, though out of context i'd be thinking "skateboarding," etc. rather than "feet."
