Has a Jarrett Gorin quality about it. Have we heard from Jarrett in this Farewell theme? We've seen numerous shots of the ocean/strand/beach/sea...I wonder if there is some shared connotation to the sea--farewell.

I like everything about this image except for the green duotone. I would have enjoyed the color version better probably.

jack: thanks, but I doubt it. This was shot right in the middle of the day, right on 12:00 from memory. It was all a bit bright, and the highlights on the surface of the ocean and in the rock pools were really overbearing.

I'd point you to the original, but a hard-drive crash means that anything much before November last year no longer exists. So it goes.
