I know that some people will think this image is over processed but this is actually what the image looks like, stunning eyes, precious moment, amazing capture.

Ha, King will say that I dodged her eyes too much, but they were that stunning in real life. The conversion to my favorite black and white made her eyes appear way over processed, yet eyes like this are such a treasure.

This young girl was riding in one of those fake cable cars in this year's St. Patrick's Day Parade. I was so taken by her eyes I just stood there and smiled at her. She raised her hand as if she wanted to wave so I raised my camera and took this shot just as she did wave.

You now know how many people we meet when we are out and about shooting. You also know how many people we have met and become friends with and continue to connect with though this hobby. And for me, that is the absolute best part of this past time.

Farewell little green nailed girl.

Hey Jack, I really hope to meet you and Anna one day face to face. I think we'd all get along famously.

pursang said 361 days ago:

BTW Jack, Tracy just said 'Tell Jack he's up WAY TOO LATE.' I agree, you should be snuggled up against that good looking wife of yours instead of 'pounding your keyboard!' hehehehe

I love the idea of this shot.

Great work!

King said 361 days ago:

Bye, gorgeous!

Beautiful. High marks.

Bye!

King said 361 days ago:

pursang?...really, dude, I didn't know you knew how to shoot in color. I mean, when you try to shoot a man holding an orange, only the orange part comes out. I can see three or four colors in this shot.

Way to go!

p.s. - I bet Paula and I get to meet Anna (and Jack) before you do.

Very striking eyes and face !
- Adios !

Mark and Tracy are welcome to come on down anytime too. I think we'd get along famously as well. BTW I did finally make it to bed and Anna was out hard when I got there.

perfect for this theme :)

Seen this somewhere before haven't I??? Maybe in screening?? Can't remember, but liked it then, love it for this Theme!!

pursang said 357 days ago:

Clyde it was indeed in Member Screening and got rejected for publication. I had it there in bw and when desaturated, her eyes look over processed, dodged beyond what seems natural. I have her on my blog in bw, since I know the truth. But for this theme, I wanted an image different, one in color. As you can see King gave me guff in good nature about my deviation from my 'norm.' Thanks for noticing.

King said 357 days ago:

@Mark...I would not, as you suggest, "...say that I dodged her eyes too much, but they were that stunning in real life" because I, too, have photographed a little girls with very similar eyes. The image is not on my site, but I will send it to you.

As for member screening...what do they know?
