Remembrance indeed. Maybe a touch over processed for me? I think I'd like it if more if it was a crop of the cross, and the top section was left out.

Touching. I like cemeteries, too. I find the dead to be much more reliable than the living.

Hi King...thanks for the high marks! This was taken at a run-down Roman Catholic cemetery nearby. It's located on a hill and quite big with lots of overgrown nooks and crannies and exotic names on hidden headstones. I like the wildly differing ways in which people commemorate their dead and I find the small and simple ones especially touching. This one was weathered and there's a dead pot plant right behind the little cross. No one I know is buried here, but perhaps I like to visit it as I can't easily visit my father's grave and a lot of the graves look as if they don't get many visitors so we sort of help each other.

Too bad that no part of the image is really sharp. Good composition otherwise.
