this is interesting. what are those lines on the right side of the shot? and those lines of dots? is this a double exposure?

That is a big kite - or rather 12 kites attached to one another. The day we went out there this guy was standing in the middle of the field and he would go from side to side(there was a sidewalk on each side) and he would bring the kite down to eye level and either follow a person or make them stop in their tracks - it was amazing to watch.

The girl reaching in the air had just released this kite for her boyfriend.

Well, well, well...

I was there that day with you and we both watched the kite flyers. Had it not been for Weeklyshot I would not have met you now would I? Nor would I have met Jarrett, George, King, Vernon or Thelma. So I will not comment on the image, but the friendships I have established simply because we all share a common passion.

We now all share something more than a piece of emulsion or sensor spots, we share friendship. Life is grand.
