I really like the position of her head and the concentrating expression on her face. My only suggestion would be to have composed the image so that her head was more toward the right as if she was 'leaning' against the right side of the frame. It would have added a more pensive feel to the image. And of course I believe that human expression is best done in bw. The color distracts from the soul of the image. High marks for sure and nicely done.
