It's really hard to be critical of such a cutie! She has amazing eyes too. Great subject, nice DOF, but the harsh light kills it for me. I think the crop isn't right on either, because the subject becomes too heavily centered and he rhead almost floats.

Cute photo, but there is too much of a blue cast to the whites of the child's eyes, IMHO.

A lovely shot. It is interesting when a photo conveys a soft texture -- we get so used to only bumpy, rough textures. I might crop it even tighter to fill the frame, but that's a personal preference.

No seriously, I did some noise reduction here because I wanted a smoother look.
I think I will crop it tighter like you suggest to see how it will look...thanks for the recommendation and for viewing!
