I really like this one. The stark tones and composition are quite nice.

too much noise for me... but it is not my style so I understand it can be appreciated ! not a bad photo...

Excellent framing and subjects. I love the expressions. I have a feeling the grain effect is purposeful, but I believe that it distracts. A crisp black and white would have been just as effective for me.

It's not noise, it's grain. It was shot with Kodak tmax 3200, very sensitive, very grainy. Why? Because it was the only film left at that point. Therefor, i couldn't make a crisp b&w. With digital cameras you have more of a choice, but with film, you just shoot with whatever film is inside your camera. :-)

ah ok sorry, excuse me kvdv !)

Love that attitude in her gaze and posture.
Great grain.

I'm not sure about this one, I think its the grainy texture. However I do like the expression on the lady.

I love your use of noise in this image as well as the expressions on their faces. Well done.

Jeff said 387 days ago:

OK. I love the use of grain. Same response though from me.

Love theses faces. Great expressions. I'm not sure about the high washed white but nevermind, it sure have impact.

It has an old magazine/newspaper quality to it because of the heavy grain that I rather like. Plus, you just know they're up to something...Natasha and Boris maybe?
