I seem to focus more on the cigarette, and the action, than his face. Good portrait, though.

I like the lighting. I think he is liking a little more than just the lighting also :)

Full of character. I like all the browns in the foreground contrasting the green and blue background. Good use of natural light and subtle shadows as well.

Interesting and complex. Oddly, for some reason the light on the fellow's face seems to almost wash out some of the texture and interest of his face, hands ect, and the less direct light in the background seems more vivid and vibrant. I am not quite sure what to make of that. Perhaps the lighting is more direct on the face of the subject to it does not help define lines and textures? I am not sure.

But, overall, a very nice portrait!
