pretty kitty eyes, but as for quality the colour could be better as there appears to be a blue cast and the image lacks a bit of punch.

Lovely photo, lovely colours, nice comp, nice dof, wish there was a tad more light on the left. Love the soft feel of this photo. You can just imagine what he's thinking by looking into his eyes.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. This is Scooter, and she's a feral we took in a few or so years ago after feeding her on our patio for a year after seeing her as about a 4-week old kitten in a sewer. While we've gained some trust as caretakers, I'm afraid cooperation is rare and touching or approaching her is even rarer. This was on a rare occasion when she let me edge the camera up to her under the dining room table, setting the exposure at a stretched arm's length. Then, I edged myself back tripping the shutter with a remote so as not to spook her. So, I'm actually quite proud of the results.
