Tanja you nailed it. This is indeed a soccer chick. This is right after the first half and I asked her to "show me your game face"! Boy did she ever.

I love her expression. Her eyes aren't quite sharp enough though. It seems that the camera focused on the high contrast in her shirt which is also drawing my attention away from her face and eyes. Perhaps a tighter crop? I also wish her face was a bit brighter.

I wish the accents on her shoulders did not overpower the image taking much away from her eyes and expression. Because the contrast is so strong on those elements my focus is often taken away from the subject matter you're hoping to highlight, her eyes.

Those are some pretty intense eyes. Great shot! I think it would be strengthened if the eyes were a bit brighter.

This is a great expression but it doesn't completely sell me on relevance.
