Certainly a moving photo - somehow in my mind a portrait is one where the subject is aware of being photographed?

Fantastic photo! The look on the subject's face, coupled with his body language, is so character-projecting. Though, funny, the longer I look at the image the more I wonder if he's just squinting to read what's on that paper. But, I prefer to imagine that he's reacting to its content. Great shot.

This evokes a lot of emotion. He looks like he just got the worst news he could have ever received and is feeling completely defeated.

It looks like he needs to read and re-read whatever is on the paper, as if he just cannot believe what it says.

Either that or he just got the bill for putting gas in his car.
