This one definitely fits the theme, and at least for me it has lots of impact.

What I read into it may not be what is happening, but to me this speaks of povery and where is my next meal coming from.

What a fantastic image. You have captured real emotion here and it really tells a story.

Part of me really likes the high contrast and strange color toning. But I wonder whether you could have done slightly less processing to this and still achieved great toning and some vignetting? I am not sure. Any less contrast and you might lose some of the mood...

Thanks for the comments, everyone. This image was not photoshop processed... the color and contrast shifts are from cross processing Kodak Ektachrome 64, although I could tone down the effects by doing some manipulation after scanning the slide :)
