Somewhat dramatic, I'm not so sure I know how to define dramatic. This man looks a little berieved (sp?) perhaps. It's a wonderful shot I really like it, the tonal quality is quite good. Nice job.

I like this one a lot. It makes me wonder whether he is very upset or just very deep in thought.

He could be reading, or playing chess, or very sad. I cannot tell, but that makes me want to look deeper into the photo.

To me the framing is bit off - perhaps if it was shot not so much from the side?

Thanks for the feedback. This man seemed to be pondering life at Fort Funston in the San Francisco area. I caught him just as his family was approaching. He seemed deep in thought until they caught his attention. I was there to photograph the hang gliders, so this shot was a true bonus gift.
