This is the type of image that makes me shout expletives in delight. I think something like "fucking brilliant!" is appropriate here.

What I like most about this shot is the very dark contrast, not many people do this, .. I like it.

This chap looks either startled or surprised .... definately dramatic with the tones you've used.

A good -- and intriguing -- picture. I think it is an interesting portrait, but cannot make up my mind about what makes it interesting. Is it the person himself (who seems to be something of a character)? Or the way in which he is seen by the photographer?
