As someone who takes many pictures of dogs I love this shot. His expression is thoughtful and calm which tells me he trusts the photographer. I even love the urban bokeh.

I can't tell if he/she is about to bark at me or is laughing at a joke.

A good dog portrait - I'll leave out the "Portrait" issue discussed in Group. I wish the background was straight. It's not an action shot, so it just makes everything appear off-kilter a little bit without adding anything to the shot.
