Incredible tone and detail.
I can see every grey hair on his head and every wrinkle on his hand and face.
Nicely done!
The only thing I don't like about it is the reflection in his glasses, but sometimes that can't be helped.
High scores from me :)

This is definitely a compelling portrait. I find myself very drawn in by this man's gaze, the detail in his fingernails, hair. It seems to be excessively sharpened - although the brittle quality of the line corresponds to his personality, it becomes distracting for me as I look at the image. The background is also super grainy, which doesn't work here for me.

Great shot! ... no need to say more.

That's the difference in monitors I think, .. I see no grain in this shot at all ... odd.

This guy has an interesting look on his face :) Good b&w image.

This is a great shot, with great impact. But it has just a bit of blur that detracts from the shot.

Excellent - I might have preferred more space towards the left

Wonderful. The eyes are piercing.

Good one.

Hmm. Interesting character, but there's something odd about the image. It seems both slightly out-of-focus (camera shake?) and over-sharpened. Think about softening it. Good composition.

Reminds me of the famous Yosuf Karsh photo of Tennessee Williams.
