Compositionally, it could benefit from some rotation. About 90 degrees clockwise ought to add a certain pizzazz. Also, I consider this more of an action shot than a portrait.

I'm not a fan of the composition...I think it would be much better rotated at least 45 degrees or so. The idea works, though. :)
