I really like this one.

He has the appearance of being in deep contemplation.

The only thing that took my attention off of him, and it's not really even a big deal, was that I was trying to figure out if he's wearing some sort of hood, since there is a slightly ragged line that runs from his forehead and along the side of his face. I gather his head was covered by a hood or some other fabric.

Nice lighting - but a bit too tightly cropped for my taste ...

I think this photo hits the theme dramatic very good. The lightning is really good!

It might be more effective if the subject was a bit off center or taken in portrait orientation. The light and exposure, however, is perfect!
