I would have cropped below the beard - too bad about the backlighting - overall though it definatly shows his character and pizzazz

Wow - that is some wiry beard! He has great eyes too. The composition isn't the best though and the sky is very over-exposed.

This was a case of this chap asking for money while I was in a traffic line up at a red light. I said I'd give him some change if he let me take his photo. There wasn't a lot of wiggle room, if you catch my drift. :)

For me, this image is excellent! My only issue is relevance... the guy seems too happy to be considered "Dramatic".

Drama doesn't necessarily mean "not happy". Try looking in either a dictionary or a thesaurus.

I think of drama as an extreme of an emotion, whatever that emotion might be. This guy was very dramatic in his actions and mannerisms. He lives on the streets of Halifax.

Yes, Lynn I know that dramatic does not need to mean "not happy"... I apologize... you are correct in the meaning of drama.

I truly love the image. I think the texture and detail are beautiful. There is nothing I would change about the image.
