She's really gorgeous! As a dramatic portrait, though, it lacks the dramaticism. Composition could be better - she's dead centre in the frame and her arm's chopped off. She's slightly underexposed, but you did well to not to underexpose her even more considering the Sun's pointing straight into the camera.

This image would have worked much better if we could see all of her left arm and hand. The sun in the background works well.

There is a lot of noise in this photo and I think it might have been better with less. I don't feel engaged with the subject either. I like that you shot it into the sun though.

Thanks everyone for the comments. I shot this in early 2001 with Fuji 160NC film and was scanned at Sam's Club...new to me at the time. I'm not sure about the 'noise'...but I purposely shot this to capture the 'Sunrise Flare' and soft reflector from the front. Maybe NOT cropping the arms out might have made the image better...but I was more focused on her face and 'flare'. I continue to learn and your comments help tremendously...
