cute. in my opinion, the dof is too shallow. i'd like to see the whiskers in more detail, and it drops off a little too close to the eyes. still, he's cute.

The relevance and impact are hard to link, because there is no drama from this animal. Animals *can* be photographed in a dramatic manner, but at least to me, this is a standard rodent "head shot".

I'm sure other comments will focus on this not being a person. I wanted to say on the merits of it simply as a photo I do like it :)

Another fabulous animal shot, hopefully there will be an animal theme one day as this is feature page material.

I wish I could have given this really high ratings on relevance and impact, but since I have no idea how to read the expression of a gerbil? hamster? mouse? I can't tell if there is drama or not.
