I actually find this quite disturbing but I'm not sure why. Sorry if that isn't what is intended - maybe it's just they way my mind is working tonight! I do find it intriguing though. I love the lighting and the colour in the eye.

I find it disturbing, too, particularly because she's my daughter. She was dressed as a witch for Halloween, and stepped into late afternoon light spilling in through the window; I had a chance to fire off only a few frames.

i must admit, i find this a little creepy - but in a beautiful haunting way. i'm not 100% sure what is draped over her head/face, so i am curious about that, but it does add some lovely texture and shadow to her cheek. i probably would have gotten rid of that little sliver of light in the top-right corner.

There is something about this image that is haunting. She has child-like and adult-like features and she's hidden. It makes me wonder what is going on. The shiny texture is a little distracting. That being said, it also adds to the whole mood of the image. Nicely done.
