I really like this image and I think it shows drama, but the darkness is not only moody (good), but it obscures some essential dramatic detail (bad). I would have been much more excited by the image if I could have discerned a bit more of the fellow's chin, beard area.

Lange: thanks, the only place that goes totaly black on his chin is right under his lower lip...i'll look into it.

Quite nice, just wish the top of his ear wasn't cropped off. Nice tones and colours, overall a good shot.

ArneG, phototext, thanks for your comments. yeah, the top of the ear might be nice, the top of the head isnt so important. think if i would change anything it would be to knock the shirt down a stop or two. the header mentions a persons character and this guy is all eyes.
