Looks like an advert for sony headphones or something. It's dramatic, good image.

Brilliant. I love the framing. I love the way the wire from the headphones reflects the line of the face. I love the expression.

I can find nothing in this shot that doesn't scream "feature page".

Perect!

Excellent shot. I thought this would be a great response to this weeks' theme when I saw it on your site. The "freezing" of the water and the expression is perfect.

Nice Shot Andrew. Lovin it. Is there any story behind this shot?

Ana said 815 days ago:

This would be an interesting shot for the water theme!

the tones, the water, the expression, they all add up to an excellent shot! well done. how did you set this up (it's a self portrait, right?)?

houser said 814 days ago:

Thanks everyone!

Shane - there's a story in everything :)

Frederik - Nothing too terribly fancy. Set up a test tripod in the shower to get approximate positioning. Lock focus. 1 strobe, cabled on another tripod about 4 feet to the right of the camera, bounced off the ceiling. Camera settings - auto ISO, Shutter priority mode with a 1/500 shutter sync set. Turn on the shower and ziplock your wireless remote. Voila!
