the composition would have been more dramatic if the singer had been bigger. Pity of the microphone, too.

The lighting is OK, although, it seems more like typical stage lighting than "dramatic" lighting to me. What is unfortunate is the fact that that microphone is perfectly positioned to block out the face of this performer. I just keep looking at that more than anything else in this shot. Sorry.
