I like the texture and light the corn stalks provide. The structure to me needs a bit more work regarding the haloing, and also needs a tad more contrast. The clouds are very sci-fi, but to my eye, are a bit much, and a little dark on the upper portion.

The shame is that a perfectly good picture was demolished.

Where is the dramatic light? I only see drama attempted to be forced into the picture as an afterthought.

Thank you for both the support and honest critiques. This image is certainly "over processed", but that was the intention. This was not "a perfectly good picture" to start. It was a quick snap, with numerous blown out areas and as such, was not originally going to be used on my blog. This is one tone mapped tiff with a lot of curve and selective coloring work.
