Fabulous moment capture. Made me smile big-time. Ears are awsome. Unfortunate technical problems with focus and color noise. So various rating run from 1 to 5 in different areas. Thanks for posting

I like the "comin at ya" impact. I wish the dog (or part of him/her) was a little sharper though.

Brilliant, this shot epitomises 'dog' for me. As expected, this theme has put up heaps of dog snapshots but this shot IS 'dog'. The carefree, joyous abandon in his/her face is fantastic. Not the best technical shot around but who cares. Great capture.

What a sweetie. I like this image, but I think the motion blur is just one notch too much, although I'm sure in increases the impact.

Love it. Didn't get a chance to rate it, but probably would have rated it high or tops in all categories with the exception of technique because an excellent image to my mind would have the little fellas face in sharper focus. I know this is not about "excellence" per se; just sharing one person's opinion. Nonetheless, the infectious enthusiasm and undeniable dog-ness about this image is strikingly palpable. I imagine you were backing away shooting frame after frame as he bounded towards you? Do tell.
