Great shot! I love the texture. I like the color but might have prefered the natural colors of the background, however this does not take away anything from such a lovely image.

This is a beautiful photograph.
If the camera were two inches higher, the lovely highlight across the top of the dog's head would have continuous separation from the horizon at the tree line, which, IMHO, would have made this shot much better. I'm not meaning to be petty--attention to details like this should be second nature before hitting the shutter, when possible.

Oh yeah! The brown tone is terrific and unifying. The look captures the feeling I get when sitting close to my dog and watching in wonderment, the wheels turning in my dog's brain when she is interested in something in her field of vision. This image expresses a lot of "dogness" to me. Thanks for this image!
