Too bad in this picture humans are more interesting than the dog !!
But the humans are really worth "seeing"..

yeah... i generally don't make a point of shooting dogs...

photo doesn't really seem to be about the dog to me. not much in relevance or impact for me. there's just too much else going on. this might be better suited for a different theme though :o)

I want to see the other comments to see how close I was to other viewers...or not close at all. I keep looking at the guy in the blue shirt, is he looking at the dog or the girl in the bikini by the pool. Making stories always makes the shot, for me, more interesting. Thanks

Seems that there is too much going on in the background. Takes your attention off the dog and your focus is drawn to guy with the binoculars.

just wanted to add something a bit different to the standard 'oooh, here's a dog, i've just taken a photo of him/her with my DSLR, now i'm going to use photoshop too add selective blurring and make it a bit fuzzy and romantic' photo...

this is great. love all that is going on, and that the focus still seems to be the dog.

and now that I've seen the comments, I'm not surprised that most thought this wasn't about the dog. but dang, he is on the outside of the action. seperate. And yes, the people draw your eye, but I keep going back to the dog that is tied to the other side. Maybe he has the better seat. :)
