great image. it looks like it may have been shot through glass. it looks as though there may be some glare in the dark area. what is this?

The thumbnail grabbed me as I immediately saw a great composition and beautiful curve...alas, the enlargment, on my humble computer, is disappointing because of the general lack of information (e.g., detail, content, textures, patterns, etc.) in over half of the image. The central part of the image, the edge of this calla lily(?), is lovely but too soft, it seems to me. Excellent design, though.

Curvey, but a little too abstract - my mind can't stop trying to make sense of it. I want to know what it is, but there isn't enough information, so remain frustrated.

Thanks for the comments. Yes, I should have spent more time working on the mechanics of the shot. It is a calla lily, btw.
