i feel a different angle on this subject would prove to be more impacting.

If this were in purple instead of gold, it would remind me a lot of pursang's featured shot of cigarette smoke. Is this a building in the Middle East?

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you mean. Would this photo taken from a different angle have had a greater impact? So you don't like the angle? Or don't you think that this/my interpretation of curves is relevant or correct. Really not trying to be difficult. In my defense - the sculpture is high up a wall so this was the only angle available.

Not sure you needed the sky at the top, just my opinion. It's clever cropping.

@King...it's an empty factory in Sheffield, England. I really love the building - it's very 50s.

@psychodudu...I like that bit of sky! How often do you get to see sky like that in March in England?

Thanks for your comments!

@Nynke...I just sent you an off-line email through your Flickr page--hope you receive it. Just wanted to compliment you on the general high quality of the work you post and the poise you exhibit.

Interesting image that fits the theme well. I find the sky a waste of real estate and recommend cropping out the black line at the top of the building and everything above it.

@Nynke,

...and merry christmas (and happy new year) to you, too!
