I enjoy the simplistic take on this theme. I think maybe the vase needs to be brought out from the background a bit more. Maybe higher contrast or starker lighting would work better in my opinion.

Simple, humble, beautiful. It could use a bit tighter crop, IMHO. I'm not crazy about focusing on a piece of art in another medium, unless you threw that pot yourself.

Certainly fits the theme, but for me there is not enough impact. It would be a fine product image, as the tones and composition are great, but it just doesn't speak to me. In my mind inanimate objects need to have a 'life' that gives it 'life' and this one doesn't have that for me.
