"Woah this is cool" - I just said that outloud. Because I'm so impressed the only real critique that comes to mind is that I don't see them needing to be displayed side by side. But that might just be me.

I do not really like the large dark area on the image to the left. I find it a bit distracting to the overall composition.

XXIVXXV: I tend to subscribe to the viewpoint put forward by dcreighton in "The End" theme:

"Personally I think the diptych is one image from a creative standpoint even though technically it is two. Once image compliments and supports the other to tell a story and I think it works..."

But each to his own.
