well, at least I remember what this is (thanks for the memory), it's waterloo bridge which makes a curve but apart from that no relevance and not terribly well exposed. what's the feature of the picture?

I think that while the one curve does pertain to the theme, its a lot to lean on in this image. The repetition of tables and books and people is interesting, but it doesn't really work for me.

One real obvious curve, and lots of straight lines. Love the lighting and shadows of this shot.

it needs a bigger curve and the left-hand side is more interesting than the right-hand one, because of the sunlight falling on it - gives it a lot more oomph.

I don't like the fact that the only prominent curve in this photo could have just as easily been cropped out as there in no information above that line. You could just as easily have drawn a black curved shape in as it doesn't seem to add anything to this photo.
