This is no photograh! This could have been done with a scanner! Pardon me, I just had to let that out. This will explailn:

This looks like a tin ceiling from an old dry goods store from the 1800's. Lovely curves and textures, although there seems to be a bit of camera movement.

This could also be a macro shot of a piece of curved jewelry, and I'm tempted to think it is, in which case we don't have camera movement so much as a focus/depth of field problem. One has to guess if one wants to rate Composition and Technique, IMHO.

So what are you up to here?

This has little emotional impact for me, but I don't supose the person submitting the photography holds any pretensions about that.

King,

Nice guesses, all of them.

I am in the same position as you, as far as my digital camera setup. I do all film work really, but I wanted one more image to submit this week. Also, being out of town I'm a bit limited with my options. So, yes, this one is done with the scanner. =)

I just looked around to see what I could find around me that would fit the theme. This is actually a piece of curved glass from a three dimensional candle holder piece. I just held it really still a few inches from the scanner while I shot it.

And no, I have no pretensions about the emotional impact here. Just wanted to give it a shot.
