great (idea and) impact on me !!
this is really neat - how did you shot this ?

Hummingbird said 334 days ago:

This seems complex, and is well executed technically.

mtmartini said 334 days ago:

I taped the SCSI card to the window so there was a little bit of a translucent effect and shot it with a 100mm EF macro lens. I owe most of the quality to Canon for making such great lenses. :-)))

JIMJIM said 334 days ago:

thanks for the answer (and for canon :) - again, this is really neat (plus, I can see a night sea in the low part and the stars above, beautiful***)
;-))

I like that the subject is complex and yet, not over-the-top. It's very well lit too and the composition feels nice.

I had a shot similar to this one, but your execution of the shot and concept is much better. Nicely done.

Hardcore geek porn

zorilla said 333 days ago:

Hmmm, looks like these comments confirm my suspicion.

mtmartini said 333 days ago:

Oh Zorilla, that is very flippin' funny. Hardcore geek porn, I'll have to remember that one.

kyla said 333 days ago:

very relevant- what the hell is it...

mtmartini said 333 days ago:

It is amazing that we came out of the same womb sometimes. :-)

Lange said 333 days ago:

Very strong on the theme. Nice lighting to show the depth and contrast of the electronics. Texture is also very prevalent here. Good job!

George said 333 days ago:

Great submission, Tracy. I also like JIMJIM's observation on the night sea and stars. How true.

fwcom said 332 days ago:

now that's a good approach for the issue of complexity!
