Yes this really seems complex to find "somebody" here !!
great find but it's a shame it's really so overexposed.

I always wondered how the 'old school cemeteries were laid out. Today it's all about ground level monuments, so these present complexity all their own. Well done.

Thanks for your comments.
Beamer, quite a lot of thought went into this shot, it's not random. I took several shots looking for a nice angle to show the stones and the vastness of the cemetery. Which this is only about a sixth of. I should have brought my wider angle lens that day. Dang hindsight.
JIMJIM, Frick in the over exposed, I'd forgot I'd turned my monitor down the other day when I had a migraine. I still don't see that it's that over exposed though, it is all white marble and white stones and white concrete and it was a very bright sunny day.
pursand, thank you. I have a fascination with cemeteries. This one was particularly amazing to me as it was so huge and so different than what I'm used too. Sadly I couldn't read any of the inscriptions as they were all written in Chinese.
This the Chinese Permanent Cemetery built in 1916 (I think)in Hong Kong. Everyone in the shot is a relative. They come from 5 or 6 different continents to meet in Hong Kong for a family reunion. 36 of us travelled together on a 4 day tour of China visiting their ancestral homes and temples.
PS...Meet my husband, that's him in the foreground. :-)

I'd like to see this without people - especially Johnny Longshorts

Great subject, but weakened IMHO by the people walking. In a place like this there must be really great shots of just the stones. Death really has it's complicated side, but this somehow just looks like a snapshot. My impression is that no real thought went into the composition...
