why bad?

the lower is easier to "solve" then the upper.
but both very complex :-))

Complex indeed. i could never figure these things out. Pretty well captured with the reflective surface and all.

What a great idea for complexity, love it. However I think that using only one cube would have made for a better overall image, 2 seems like overkill to me and ruins the balance.

I had the same feeling about the "overkill" with two cubes, but wanted to transpond the "too much" feeling when you try to solve such a cube.
