Interesting capture and alternative viewpoint. I like the black and white with the gritty flash looking effect. It reminds me of a Weegee shot.

I just don't think this get there... For me relevance is weak, impact is less that it could be even if you accept the subject as relevant. The bright highlight on the edge of the sign pulls the eye away from the words.

Beamer: I posted this fully expecting low scores. I posted it because I was already sick of looking at pictures of steeples. Sometimes I like to be a little more creative and less obvious, you know?
