In the thumbnail it was hard to see the broken tree, but here it really stands out. I like this image but fear that some may not get the broken in it, hopefully I am wrong. Lovely shot.

Judith, where are you located. I read on your site that it was in upstate NY, I am in way upstate near Plattsburgh.

Tracy, I'm located in central upstate, about 45 minutes south of Syracuse, an hour or so east of Ithaca, an hour north of Binghamton. Is Plattsburgh way up near the Vermont border?

It is, we are actually located about half way between the St. Laurence River and Lake Champlain and are 10 minutes from the Canadian border.

I see you're using the branch as your broken element. Though it's central IN the image, I don't think it's central TO the image, so I'm rating down slightly on relevance.

Otherwise, this is a fabulous picture. It's really too pretty to be in a broken theme. I like it a lot.
