Actually, it was more like impaled. This (once) beautiful sailboat must have broke loose it's moorings and smashed into the remnants of this old dock. It was a sad sight. It was impaled by several large beams and you could tell it wasn't that old and had been a beauty at one time, not too long before it's unfortunate demise.

Awww man..that looks expensive..

It's kind of lacking in composition somehow..maybe a little too close? Needs some context or something. Hard to describe.

I went back and forth about which one to post. I had several other views with a wider view but the damage didn't look as serious in the wider views. I took the gamble with the tighter shot.

Yeah, I can imagine it would have been a difficult balance to strike. Good impact like this though and nice and contrasty.
