I'm not sure what relevance the tube of whatever has to this scene. The broken cup is good, but I suppose maybe the tube was just thrown in for contrast? Is it glue, maybe?
Also, I'd crop a big chunk of black off the top.

The light is pretty, the relevance is there, and you are telling a story. On the other hand, in my opinion, there are too many elements on the table. You seem to be shooting at about the level of the opening of the vase, but if you could have raised the camera just a little, that might have helped. It would probably enhance this shot a lot if we could see a hand, holding a broken piece, with some of the glue on it, about to put one piece back in place.
Ratings high enough to help this get featured. :>)

Not bad, but there's already a similar post...

Nice shot! I would have cropped a bit off the top, but high marks nonetheless.

I like this image more than the red broken mug but there is something I can't put my finger on that holds me back from the highest marks all around.

This is the second broken coffee cup I've rated today. This one doesn't have the same impact as the other, though it's shot very similarly and both are lit very well.
The pattern on the cup and shallow depth of field detract a little on this one I think, though I like the addition of the glue to fix it.
