What time of day was this taken? At first I thought it was a night shot, but on closer inspection I don't think so... perhaps it's just the processing that gives it that nice eerie feel.

SeekingFocus, you'd be correct. It was taken during a cold winter day probably mid afternoon.

This is certainly a broken building. Good find.

I'm not a fan of the color processing since the pink cast gives it more of a happy, rosy feel, which seems counter to the broken theme.

I like the selenium tone on this ramshackle old shack. The subject matter seems trite (i.e., commonplace), so the image has a lot to overcome in order to get attention. Otherwise, nicely done.
