Oh oh, show us more!!! But at a later stage! Cute allthough you just can see eggs... Guess my mind is fastforwarding this image!

I wasn't sure about this shot at first but it has really grown on me. There aren't too many people with access to hatching chicks so I might think it is another rural person like myself who took the shot, perhaps Roberta. High marks.

Thank you to everyone who's left comments on this so far.
King - Getting a comment like that from you means a lot, and is greatly appreciated.
ChriZ - Unfortunately, I only had access to the eggs for about 5-10 minutes and they take quite a bit longer to finally poke their way through. I wish I had gotten to stay for longer though!
MtMartini - I'm glad that the shot grew on you. I'm not quite a rural person myself, though definitely in a small town. These eggs are actually from up at the college in town - Gustavus Adolphus - from the biology department for an imprinting study. It was my fiancee's duty to watch over them while they hatched so I took the opportunity to tag along and snap a few shots.

I assumed that there would be broken eggs with this theme but the fact that you actually caught one hatching is remarkable. Excellent!

Wow, what a moment caught on camera. The only fault I can find is this picture has quite a bit of digital noise - no doubt from the low light. But overall it's well done and deserving of a feature.
