I took me a moment to figure out where the bridge was, so I guess the picture (for me anyway) is more about the flag and buildings than the connecting walkway, so not too high on relevance. I do like the muted, desaturated tones, and the way this brings out the red in the flag. My only other gripe is the fact that the sky has blown out to white.

It's a nice interpretation of 'Bridge' - but the impact of the bridge itself isn't that great.

This counts as relevant, although it is not a particularly inspiring photograph--except for the flag...that's inspiring.

However, I do think this photo has merit. If taken at the right time of year, time of day, right atmospheric conditions, etc., this could be a winner, although I'd still get rid of that one wire moving across the middle of the frame.

It's unfortunate that many of you don't notice the bridge between the buildings, because I wanted that to be the subject of the photo. This photo was not taken specifically for the topic although coincidentally not very long before the topic was announced. It was taken on February 20, 3PM in downtown Toronto, the sky that day was overcast and the sun was nowhere to be found.
